Public Speaking
Over the course of the past two years, Yardena has spoken in dozens of cities around the world, including talks at universities, libraries, bookstores, synagogues, churches, Jewish community centers and museums across the United States, Canada and Israel. She has been a featured speaker at the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America in Washington, DC, and the Begin Center in Jerusalem, among others.
Her speaking topics range from the hidden roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict, how disinformation has played a starring role in this conflict for the last century, the haunting parallels between the massacre of 1929 and October 7th, and the crucial role the press plays in hindering or furthering a resolution of this conflict. All of these talks are based on Yardena’s firsthand experience covering this conflict for the world’s leading news organizations over the course of over a decade, and from the archival research, interviews and historical scholarship she conducted to write Ghosts of a Holy War.
Below are some highlights and testimonials from people who have either attended or hosted Yardena’s talks. For all speaking-related questions, contact Yardena at yardena.schwartz@gmail.com.
